Privacy policy

Last updated 28 August 2026

The short version

Gerovia is a directory. There are no user accounts, no logins and no payments. We do not ask you for personal information, and there is nothing to sign up for.

We use analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they use. This is reported to us in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individuals.

Server logs. Our host, Vercel, processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Email you send us. If you email hello@gerovia.com we hold that message so we can reply to it. We do not add you to any mailing list.

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth or payment details, because there is nothing on this site that asks for them.

We do not collect health information about you. Reading a page about a treatment tells us that the page was read. It does not tell us who read it, and we make no attempt to find out.

We do not sell or share data with data brokers, and we do not run behavioural advertising.

Cookies and similar technology

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. Vercel Analytics is designed to work without cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

Provider pages display each clinic's website icon, which is fetched from a Google service. That means Google can see that an icon was requested. This is a convenience for recognising clinics at a glance, and we are telling you about it because you would not otherwise know.

Links to other sites

Gerovia links out to clinic websites and to research sources. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no control over what they collect.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to processing. Given the above there is unlikely to be much, but the right stands and we will answer honestly.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the browser add-on Google publishes for that purpose.

To exercise any of this, email hello@gerovia.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page rather than change it quietly.
